TPE Sex Dolls

TPE is thermoplastic elastomer. It is softer, stretchier and cheaper than silicone, and most people find it feels considerably more like skin. It is also the material that needs looking after.

Why people choose TPE

Feel, and price. Those are the two reasons and they are good ones.

TPE has give. It compresses and moves in a way firm silicone does not, which is why it reads as more lifelike to the touch. And it costs a fraction of the equivalent in silicone, which puts realistic dolls within reach at ₹12,999 rather than ₹1,64,999.

Some sellers call it rubber. It is not rubber, but the name persists.

The trade-off, stated plainly

TPE is slightly porous. That is the whole of the downside and everything else follows from it.

Moisture can sit in the surface, which means drying properly is not optional and a doll left damp will develop a smell and eventually mould. It cannot be sanitised the way silicone can. And it degrades over time rather than lasting indefinitely, so treat it as a consumable with a life measured in months to a few years depending on use.

It is also more vulnerable to heat, sunlight and staining.

None of that makes TPE a bad buy. It makes it a material with a maintenance routine, and the people disappointed by TPE are almost always the ones who skipped it.

The upkeep, specifically

Wash the openings with warm, not hot, water and mild unscented soap after every use.

Dry completely, including inside. This is the step that matters most. A cool hairdryer or a drying stick works better than leaving it to air.

Once fully dry, dust lightly with cornflour or a renewal powder. This keeps the surface from turning tacky, which is the first sign TPE is being neglected.

Keep it away from dark fabrics. Denim and dyed clothing stain TPE permanently and it does not come out. This ruins more TPE dolls than anything else.

Water-based lubricant only. Silicone lubricant degrades TPE.
