Cash on delivery

Cash on delivery lets you pay in cash when the parcel reaches you, with no card details entered and no online transaction on your statement. It is available in more than 40 cities across India.

How it works

  1. Add what you want to your cart and go to checkout.
  2. Enter your delivery address and PIN code. If cash on delivery is available for that PIN code, it appears as a payment option.
  3. Place the order. No payment is taken at this point.
  4. We dispatch the parcel, usually within 48 hours, and send you a tracking link.
  5. When the courier arrives, pay the exact amount in cash and take the parcel.

Before you order

  • Keep the amount ready. Couriers often cannot give change, so exact cash avoids a failed delivery.
  • Use a phone number you answer. Most couriers call before arriving. An unreachable number is the single most common reason a cash on delivery parcel goes back undelivered.
  • Be available at the address. Cash on delivery parcels usually cannot be left with a neighbour or at a desk.

Is there an extra charge?

Any cash on delivery handling fee is shown at checkout before you place the order. The product price itself is inclusive of all taxes, and nothing is added afterwards.

Privacy with cash on delivery

Because no card or UPI transaction takes place, there is no entry on any bank statement at all. The parcel itself arrives in plain, unbranded packaging with nothing on the label describing the contents — see discreet delivery for exactly what the courier and anyone at your address can see.

Can I open the parcel before paying?

Courier policy on open delivery varies by carrier and city, and most do not permit opening before payment. If the parcel looks damaged or tampered with on arrival, you can refuse it, and you should tell us the same day so we can send a replacement.

If cash on delivery is not available for your PIN code

Some PIN codes fall outside courier cash on delivery coverage. In that case the option will not appear at checkout, and prepaid payment methods are still available. Coverage changes over time, so it is worth checking again later.

Refused and undelivered orders

If a cash on delivery parcel is refused at the door or cannot be delivered after repeated attempts, it returns to us. Repeatedly refused orders may mean cash on delivery is disabled for that address in future. If something has gone wrong, message us instead — it is almost always fixable.
