Anal Plugs & Butt Plugs

An anal plug is not something you thrust. It goes in and stays put. The shape is doing that work: a tapered tip to get started, a narrower neck for your body to close around, and a base wider than the rest so it cannot be pulled inside.

How to put one in

An empty bowel helps. It is not essential, but it makes people less tense, and tension is the actual obstacle here.

Lube the plug and yourself, more than seems sensible. If it is a metal anal plug, run it under warm water first so it is not a cold shock.

Then go slowly. Rest the tip against the opening and wait rather than pushing. Breathe out as it goes in. The sphincter relaxes on the out-breath, which is the most useful thing on this page.

Stop at resistance, not at pain. If it will not go, the plug is too big or you are too tense. Forcing it fixes neither.

Coming out is the same in reverse. Slow, on an out-breath.

Steel or silicone

Most of what we stock is stainless steel. Non-porous, boilable, and it holds temperature, so warming or cooling it first gives you a different sensation for free. It is also heavy, and for a lot of people that weight is the whole appeal. A steel anal plug will outlast everything else in the drawer.

Silicone bends. It gives during insertion, warms up on its own, and is easier to wear for longer. Water-based lube only. The graduated silicone set at ₹5,499 lets you work upward without buying three separate plugs.

Steel is less forgiving about size. If you are guessing, guess silicone.

Tail plugs

A tail plug is a small plug with a faux fur tail attached. The plug end is deliberately small, because the whole point is wearing it while moving around and a wide plug stops being comfortable within minutes.

The 16 inch pink silicone tail at ₹1,749 has a 1.2 inch plug, which is beginner territory. The 40 cm tail on a steel plug at ₹2,099 weighs 86 grams in total.

Two things nobody mentions. The tail drags, so it picks up dust from the floor and needs brushing rather than washing. And it pulls lightly on the base as you move or sit, which is a different sensation from a plain plug and is most of why people buy one.

Jewelled and crystal bases

A gem base is a flared base made decorative. The flare is the part that matters and it is not optional; the crystal sits on top of it.

Check the stone is firmly seated before every use, and stop using a plug if it loosens or chips, because a damaged setting is a sharp edge in the wrong place. Sizing

Widest point, not length. That is the only number that matters.

The small jewelled plug at ₹1,049 is 1.4 inches at its widest, which is the right first size for most people. The small steel heart plug at ₹1,349 is narrower still at about an inch, if you would rather start below that. The medium steel plug at ₹3,499 goes to 3.9 cm at its widest with 7 cm insertable. That is a real jump, not the next notch up.

Why the base is not optional

The rectum has no natural stop. Muscle contraction can draw an object further in, and once it is past the sphincter it does not come back on its own. That is an emergency room visit, and it happens often enough that surgeons have a name for the category.

So: flared base or a fixed ring, always. The heart-base plug with a pull ring at ₹3,199 is built for one-handed removal if that matters to you.

Wearing one

Start at fifteen or twenty minutes, at home, before you try anything else. Build up across separate sessions rather than in one evening.

Steel is heavier and harder to forget about. Silicone is the easier one for longer stretches.

Take it out for numbness, cramping or pain. Do not sleep in one.

Plugs with a motor, and plugs with a ring

Lubricant

Use more than seems reasonable, and top it up partway through. The anus makes none of its own, and almost every bad first experience traces back to that.

Water-based works with steel and silicone both. Silicone lube will ruin a silicone plug permanently, so keep the two apart.

Anal plugs for men and for women

Same anatomy, same product. Nothing on this page is designed for one gender, whatever the packaging elsewhere suggests.

Cleaning

Steel: soap and hot water, or three minutes in boiling water. Silicone: warm soapy water or a toy cleaner, air dried fully, stored away from other silicone.

Dry before storage, always. Damp is how toys go bad.

And never move a plug from anal to vaginal use without washing it or changing the condom.

Stop and ask a doctor if

There is bleeding beyond a trace. Pain still there after you have stopped. Numbness that does not fade.
