The trade you are making
TPR is porous. It cannot be fully sterilised the way silicone can, it absorbs lubricant over time, and it has a finite lifespan measured in months rather than years. That is why it costs what it does. If you want something permanent, buy silicone.
Use a condom over it if sharing
Because the material is porous, a condom is the only reliable way to share it or to keep it hygienic long-term. That is standard practice for all jelly toys, not a criticism of this one.
Care
Water-based lubricant only — silicone and oil-based lubricants degrade TPR. Wash with warm water and mild unscented soap after every use, dry completely, and store separately from other toys because TPR can react with other materials.

- Dust with renewal powder or cornstarch to keep the surface soft rather than tacky.
- Store away from heat, sunlight and other toys, and replace it sooner than you would a silicone one.

No, and we would rather say so. TPR is softer and far cheaper, but it is porous — it absorbs moisture and cannot be fully sanitised. Treat it as a consumable and as a single-user item. Silicone costs more once and then lasts.

On smooth non-porous surfaces — tile, glass, a bath side. It will not hold on grout lines, textured tile, wood grain or fabric. Wet it slightly and press firmly.
The suction cup base is wide and flat, which does count as a flared base. But TPR is porous, so if you use it anally it should not then be used vaginally, and it should not be shared at all.
