Where the suction base actually holds
It needs a smooth, non-porous surface: tile, glass, a sealed bath panel, a laminate floor. Painted plaster, textured wallpaper and unsealed wood will not hold it. Press it down firmly and check it before you rely on it.
Ribbed, not smooth
The inner walls are ribbed rather than smooth, so the sensation varies through the stroke instead of staying uniform. Vibration runs through the sleeve on top of that.
Why TPR, and what it costs you
TPR is softer and more skin-like than silicone and it stretches to fit a wide range, which is why it dominates strokers. The trade is upkeep. TPR is porous, so it must be washed through thoroughly after every use and dried completely inside, or it will grow mould in a tunnel you cannot see into. Dust it with renewal powder once dry and it stays soft instead of going sticky.
Because it is porous it cannot be fully sanitised. It is a single-user item and should be replaced periodically rather than kept indefinitely. If you want something that lasts years instead, buy silicone.

How to use

- Apply water-based lubricant inside the sleeve and on yourself. Avoid silicone lubricant — it degrades TPE and silicone.
- Insert slowly and build up speed and pressure to your comfort.
- Wash immediately after use, inside and out, and dry completely before storing.
- Powder if it is TPE. A little renewal powder or cornstarch keeps the surface soft rather than tacky.

- Dry completely — trapped moisture is what shortens a TPE toy's life.

- Store away from heat, sunlight and other toys, and replace it sooner than you would a silicone one.
