About this product

A 4 inch silicone plug formed as a series of coloured beads that increase in size along the shaft. Waterproof.

Beads in silicone rather than steel

A beaded steel plug is rigid — each bead is an exact fixed width. In silicone the beads compress slightly as they pass, which makes the same shape considerably more forgiving. For anyone who likes the beaded sensation but found metal too demanding, this is the answer.

Take it in stages

The graduation exists so you can stop wherever is comfortable. There is no requirement to take the full length, and the largest bead is the last for a reason.

Silicone can be sterilised

Non-porous and boil-safe, which matters more for a beaded shape than a smooth one — more surface, more crevices, more places for residue.

Care

Water-based lubricant only; silicone lubricant permanently bonds to silicone. Wash thoroughly with warm water and mild soap paying attention to the grooves between beads, or boil briefly. Dry fully.

How to use

Check the base. Everything in this category has a flared base. Never use anything anally without one — it is the single non-negotiable safety feature.
Wash it first with warm water and a mild soap, and dry it fully.
Use a water-based lubricant, generously. The anus does not self-lubricate. Silicone lubricant also degrades silicone and TPE, so water-based is both safer for you and kinder to the product.
Go slower than you think you need to. Insert gradually, stop at any resistance, and start smaller than you expect to need.
Stop if there is pain. Discomfort that does not settle within a few seconds means stop. Bleeding or sharp pain means stop and seek medical advice.
Clean and dry again before storing.

Care and storage

Wash with warm water and a mild, unscented soap after every use.
Non-porous, so it can be properly sanitised — boiling or a 10% bleach solution is safe for pure silicone with no electronics.
Dry completely with a lint-free cloth before storing.
Store separately from other silicone items; prolonged contact can mark the surface.
