An inflatable plug is the one item in this category that can genuinely hurt you through carelessness. Inflate in small increments and stop at the first sign of pressure or discomfort — not pain, pressure. Deflate completely before removal, always, without exception. Never inflate beyond what feels comfortable to chase a number, and never leave it inflated while sleeping or unattended.
Check the valve before every use
Squeeze the bulb, then confirm the release works and fully deflates it, before it goes anywhere. A valve that sticks is the failure mode that matters here.

How to use
- Check the base. Everything in this category has a flared base. Never use anything anally without one — it is the single non-negotiable safety feature.
- Wash it first with warm water and a mild soap, and dry it fully.
- Use a water-based lubricant, generously. The anus does not self-lubricate. Silicone lubricant also degrades silicone and TPE, so water-based is both safer for you and kinder to the product.
- Go slower than you think you need to. Insert gradually, stop at any resistance, and start smaller than you expect to need.
- Stop if there is pain. Discomfort that does not settle within a few seconds means stop. Bleeding or sharp pain means stop and seek medical advice.
- Clean and dry again before storing.

- Non-porous, so it can be properly sanitised — boiling or a 10% bleach solution is safe for pure silicone with no electronics.
