The tail is the whole design

The egg sits internally against the G-spot and the curved antenna stays outside. On the Lush 3 that tail is fixed rather than floppy, which is the single change that matters over the previous generation: it holds position while you walk, sit and stand rather than drifting until the toy is no longer where you put it. A wearable that moves is a wearable that does nothing.

Under 43 dB, which is the number that decides it

Quiet is not a nice extra on a toy designed to be worn out. It is the feature. Under 43 dB sits below normal conversation and is covered by the ambient noise of any restaurant, cinema or train. Louder toys in this format exist and are cheaper, and they are cheaper because they cannot be used for the thing this one is for.

Distance is genuinely unlimited

Bluetooth connects the Lush 3 to the wearer's phone. From there the Lovense app relays over the internet, so a partner in another city or another country has the same control as one in the room. They can change intensity, switch patterns, build custom ones, or drive it from music.

Two things worth knowing. Both phones need to be online for long distance to work, and the Bluetooth link at the toy end is still only a few metres, so a dropout between phone and toy is normal radio behaviour rather than a fault.

The app is part of what you are buying

The Lovense Remote app wants an account and Bluetooth permission, and on Android it will also ask for location, which is how Android gates Bluetooth scanning. Use an email address you do not use elsewhere, decline the optional social and community features unless you want them, and check whether the app can sit behind your phone's fingerprint or face unlock. None of that is a reason to avoid it. It is a reason to set it up deliberately.

Charging

Magnetic USB cable, so there is no port to corrode and nothing to push in. That is also why losing the cable is the most common way one of these ends up in a drawer. Charge it fully before a long-distance session rather than during one.

Care

Water-based lubricant only — silicone lubricant bonds permanently to a silicone surface and ruins it. Fully waterproof, so it washes under a tap with mild soap. Dry completely before storing, and keep it away from other silicone.
