Why ABS rather than silicone
It is hard and non-porous. It transmits vibration cleanly rather than damping it the way soft materials do, and it washes completely.

Remove them before storing. Batteries left in are the most common reason an inexpensive vibrator dies early.

Water-based lubricant. Wash with warm water and mild soap and keep the battery compartment dry.
