About this product

A 4 inch smooth steel plug with a gem-set flared base, made specifically for temperature play.

Steel is the only material that does this properly

Silicone barely changes temperature and returns to body heat within seconds. Steel holds warm or cold for several minutes, which is long enough for the temperature itself to be the sensation rather than a passing novelty. That is the entire argument for this plug.

How to do it safely

Warm: a bowl of hand-hot tap water for two minutes. Cold: a bowl of cold water, not the freezer. Then dry it and hold it against the inside of your wrist for a full five seconds before use. If it is uncomfortable there, it is dangerous elsewhere.

Never do this

No microwave, no boiling water, no freezer, no ice. Steel transfers heat and cold hundreds of times faster than skin can dissipate, and burns from a metal toy are a real injury rather than a theoretical one.

How to use

Check the base. Everything in this category has a flared base. Never use anything anally without one — it is the single non-negotiable safety feature.
Wash it first with warm water and a mild soap, and dry it fully.
Use a water-based lubricant, generously. The anus does not self-lubricate. Silicone lubricant also degrades silicone and TPE, so water-based is both safer for you and kinder to the product.
Go slower than you think you need to. Insert gradually, stop at any resistance, and start smaller than you expect to need.
Stop if there is pain. Discomfort that does not settle within a few seconds means stop. Bleeding or sharp pain means stop and seek medical advice.
Clean and dry again before storing.

Care and storage

Wash with warm soapy water; glass and steel are non-porous and can be sterilised by boiling.
Check glass for chips or cracks before every use and retire it immediately if you find any.
Dry fully and store padded, so it cannot knock against anything hard.
Both hold temperature well — warm or cool in water, never in a microwave or freezer.
