About this product

The previous generation, and we would rather say so

The Lush 3 replaced this model. The differences are real but narrow: the Lush 3 has a fixed antenna tail that holds position better while you move, and it runs quieter. Everything else — the app, the unlimited distance, the custom patterns, the music sync — works the same way on both.

If you want the quietest wearable for going out, buy the Lush 3. If long-distance control between two people at home is the actual use case, the Lush 2 does that job for less.

Distance is the reason to buy it

Bluetooth handles the same room. Beyond that the Lovense app relays over the internet, so a partner anywhere with a connection has full control of intensity and pattern. That is the one thing a handheld remote cannot do at any price, and it is what the premium here pays for.

Both phones need to be online for long distance. The Bluetooth hop between the wearer's phone and the toy is still only a few metres, so an occasional dropout at that end is radio behaving normally, not a fault.

The app is part of what you are buying

The Lovense Remote app wants an account and Bluetooth permission, and Android will also ask for location because that is how it gates Bluetooth scanning. Use an email you do not use elsewhere and decline the optional social features unless you want them.

Care

Water-based lubricant only — silicone lubricant bonds permanently to silicone. Wash with warm water and mild soap after every use, dry fully before charging, and store away from other silicone.

Charge fully before first use.
Wash and dry before it touches skin.
Use water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant will ruin a silicone surface.
Start on the lowest setting and work up through the modes.
Wash, dry and store away from other toys and out of direct sunlight.

Care and storage

Wash with warm water and a mild, unscented soap after every use.
Non-porous, so it can be properly sanitised — boiling or a 10% bleach solution is safe for pure silicone with no electronics.
Dry completely with a lint-free cloth before storing.
Store separately from other silicone items; prolonged contact can mark the surface.
