About this product

A faux leather paddle with XOXO cut through the face, so each stroke prints the letters onto the skin.

The imprint is the reason to buy this one

It works, but it takes practice. The letters only appear cleanly if the paddle lands flat and square. Angled strokes smear them. Landing it properly a few times on a pillow is worth the five minutes.

Why the flex matters

The blade does two useful things. It wraps to follow the curve of the body, so the whole face makes contact rather than just one edge. And it produces sting rather than deep bruising force. Combined with the cut-outs, which reduce drag and let it move quickly, this is a very approachable paddle. It is the natural step up from using your hand, and considerably more theatrical.

Use the wrist loop

It is worth using. A paddle that slips mid-swing is the most common way a light-hearted scene stops being light-hearted.
