The plush lining is what makes the cuffs safe
It spreads pressure across the whole wrist instead of concentrating it in a narrow band. That is what allows someone to pull against the restraint safely, and it is exactly where cheap rigid handcuffs cause trouble.

How to use

- Use a water-based lubricant. It is safe with every material we stock; silicone lubricant is not.

Care and storage
- Wash with warm soapy water; glass and steel are non-porous and can be sterilised by boiling.
- Check glass for chips or cracks before every use and retire it immediately if you find any.
- Dry fully and store padded, so it cannot knock against anything hard.
- Both hold temperature well — warm or cool in water, never in a microwave or freezer.
