One flogger covers the range

Learn it on a pillow

The technique that matters is keeping the tails together so they land as a group. When they fan out, the ends wrap around the body and catch the sides sharply, in places nobody aimed at.

Where to aim

Wipe the tails with a damp cloth, condition the leather occasionally, and hang it up rather than folding it.
